An opportunity for all players of PVFC to receive specific high performance training and education to help further develop all aspects of each players game.

WHO IS OXIDATE PERFORMANCE?

PROGRAM OUTLINE:

This program is the ultimate club package & high performance program. Built specifically for long term athletic development. Combining forces with the club's football philosophy and mission, by providing the physical performance, strength/speed/conditioning, and injury prevention to support the players, parents & coaches needs.

 

Oxidate coaches to work with all teams of PVFC to provide a systemised approach and progression throughout the entire club. This is the pinnacle of High Performance.

METHODOLOGY:
Through specific strength and conditioning training and protocols, athletes can develop more strength, power and speed enabling them to be more robust and athletic on the pitch. 


Not only does this reduce their risk of injury, but further enhances the opportunity for players to better their technical skills and abilities and overall development as a footballer.

During the different phases of growth and development of young athletes, it is extremely important to teach athletes how to control their body in motion and in space. An athlete that has more motor control, more proprioception and more body awareness, is an athlete who is able to develop more strength and power and able to apply more force.

This results in a more athletically efficient player who has increased opportunity to maximise their development on the pitch

PROGRAM GOALS & OBJECTIVES

  • All players improve physical capabilities - strength, power, speed, force production

  • All players improve proprioception, body awareness, and motor control

  • All players reduce risk of injury

  • Lowest injury statistics across the entire club

  • Players learn how to mange body/load

  • Educating players, coaches and parents on health & performance

PROGRAM TRAINING SCHEDULE:

NPL PROGRAM
All NPL teams from u14
's - u21's will train at Oxidate 1 x per fortnight throughout the entire 2022 season.
All players have access to use Oxidate's hot and cold recovery pools post session for an optimal recovery experience.

MINIROOS PROGRAM

All Miniroos teams from u9's - u13's will train at Oxidate 1 x per month throughout the entire 2022 season.
All players have access to use Oxidate's hot and cold recovery pools post session for an optimal recovery experience.
