Athlete Development
Pre-season Program 2022

An opportunity for athletes of all sports to maximise
their pre-season potential

The athlete development pre-season program is available for athletes of all ages and all sports.

Official Start date of phase 2: Tuesday 18th January

Duration: 6 weeks - Players can join the program at any point, there 6 week training block will start from the time of when they join.

The program is split into 2 groups:

  • Junior Program  (8-15 years of age)

  • Senior Program  (+16 years of age

 

Each Athlete Receives:

STRENGTH & CONDITIONING

FIELD BASED SKILL &
PERFORMANCE SESSIONS

RECOVERY & HEALTH

  • Performance Testing: All athletes will be screened and tested at the beginning of the program

 

  • Each week athletes will have access to 2 - 3 x specific strength & conditioning sessions

 

  • Sessions will focus on maximising the off-season period by building strength, power and speed

 

  • All sessions will focus on athlete injury prevention and conditioning the athlete to be as robust as possible

  • Athletes have unlimited access to use the Oxidate gym freely

 

  • Each week athletes have access to 1 x field based skill and or performance session

  • The skill session is specific for soccer players and will be a technical football session

  • The field performance session will contain specifc running and movement drills to improve movement efficiency, run technique, speed and power output

  • Athletes have unlimited access to use the Oxidate pitch freely

 

  • Athletes have unlimited access to Oxidate's state of the art recovery room which contains 2 x 5m spas

  • 1 spa sits at a freezing cold 12-14 degrees and other at 38 degrees designed for hot and cold water therapy

  • Athletes have access to personalised sports nutrition coaching as an optionally add-on to their program

  • Athletes have access to Oxidate's Physiotherapist and Sports Remedial Massage Therapist at a discounted member price  of 20% off all treatments
